Maggie Radany, President and Founder of Health Advocates of Orange County, Inc., is a health advocate with over 25 years of experience as a registered nurse and health insurance consultant. She has worked as an oncology nurse at Stanford University Hospital; as a benefits analyst and program director at M-CARE, a health insurance plan; and as an employee health benefits consultant at UltraLink (now Secova), where she led a healthcare advocacy service.

As a registered nurse, Maggie “speaks the language” of the medical system and can help explain and navigate it. Having worked in the health insurance industry, she understands how to engage with health plans to get the best possible coverage for her clients. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, she uses her knowledge and experience to advocate effectively in a variety of ways, all aimed at getting you optimal care.

Maggie has a diploma in nursing from Nebraska Methodist College, a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Notre Dame de Namur University and a master of public policy degree from Georgetown University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the National Patient Advocate Foundation and is a founding member of the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants.
